San Francesco di Paola Feast Day & Frittata Dinner General Meeting

April 2 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The feast day of San Francesco di Paola has always been a monumental celebration in Calabria which has been passed onto the Calabresi-American community with pride!

San Francesco was known for his acts of charity, ability to heal the sick, and his devotion to the poor. In 1436, Francis established the Order of Minims, a religious order dedicated to living a life of extreme austerity and humility. The Minims followed a strict rule of poverty, chastity, and obedience, living in small communities and spending much of their time in prayer and contemplation. He was canonized as a saint by Pope Leo X in 1519 and today, he is venerated as the patron saint of Calabria, Italy. His feast day is celebrated on April 2nd.

The evening festivities will include homemade Frittata followed by dinner.

Please kindly call (773) 889 – 7878 with your dinner reservation including name and guest count!
